Studies demonstrate how cattle grazing reduces wildfire risk

While environmentalists would prefer our nation’s expansive grasslands remain untouched, cattlemen know that responsible grazing is a critical tool to proper land management that reaps many benefits for a healthy landscape and wildlife habitat.

Debunking the “Feed The World” Myth

Makes sense to me! Nature has the answer for saving nature.

“You can’t feed the world that way,” is a justification for the carbon-emitting agriculture industry, repackaging itself as eco-friendly “plant-based protein.”

Exactly what we have been saying.
09/02/2019

Exactly what we have been saying.

The "IMPOSSIBLE" Truth About Fake Meat vs. Grassfed Beef is that White Oak Pastures certified grassfed cattle are much better at reducing greenhouse gas than plant-based protein sources. At least 3.5 pounds of carbon is being stored in our soil for every pound of White Oak Pastures beef you purchase. Impossible Foods' Life Cycle Assessment shows how industrial farming of GMO-soy or peas for their meat substitute releases at least 3.5 lbs of carbon dioxide equivalent for every pound of fake meat that is consumed.
The irony is you'd have to eat almost exactly one pound of our grassfed beef to offset the carbon emitted from eating a pound of their stuff made from commodity crops.

Why we raise belted gallows. Steaks, Roasts and Ground Beef available now! Help us save the earth and have the best beef in the world.

Plant-based meat alternatives do not treat farms like ecosystems. But how do they taste? We blindfolded 28 volunteers to find out. Let "The Battle Of The Burger" begin! The results will probably not surprise you.

Know what will surprise you? It takes 1 pound of White Oak Pastures grassfed beef to reverse the carbon dioxide equivalent that is emitted by the production of 1 pound of fake meat. Fake meat may not be as bad as industrial, commoditized beef, but still relies on the same conventional monocultural model. Impossible Foods still causes 3.5 lbs of carbon emissions for each pound of their product you consume. Meanwhile, our grassfed beef is sequestering at least 3.5 lbs of carbon and storing it in healthy soil.

Another new pasture today. This was a middle pasture that is next to the catch pen and the water. I stretched out the pen into a fence and let this grow back for about a month. Lots of rain and cow manure really kicked this grass into high gear.
