I know I have not posted on here for a while. Our growing season is just getting started and we should have produce available in about a month or so weather permiting.

I need your help a lot of our produce gets sold to Three Squares food bank by way of the NDA program Home Feed Nevada. As the trump administration is freezing many of the funding/grant programs across the USDA Home Feed Nevada does not have funding. Farmers and Ranchers across the State rely on this program to sell what they grow. We are asking the State legislators to help fund this program. The bill is SB233. We need your comments to help show how important this bill is.

I like to call the HFN program a win, win, win program. 1. it supports small and mid size farms with in our State, 2. it supports rural communities by suppling jobs and 3. it feeds those most in need across our State.

We have launched a new web site online with a store front. Visit www.bluelizardfarm.com This week we have Rainier Cherries, Apricots, Nectarines, Peaches, Plums, and California Tomatoes.

Ely we are not leaving you out of this. I will be delivering the pre-order of fruit on June 15th from 10am to 12pm to the Shoshone Chevron gas station. Our goal is to deliver to Ely every 2 weeks.

Lincoln County. Blue Lizard Farm has worked a deal out with Ika Greens to bring in CHERRIES! These Cherries are coming right from the farm in California. We are selling cherries for $5.00 a pound or a flat that is 18 pounds for $40.00.

I need pre orders to know how much to bring up here. Pick up will be at Blue Lizard Farm. Pre-payment is needed to secure these cherries. We prefer Venmo however we can work out other payment methods if needed. Venmo -Mehring

We can even have the truck stop for pickup in Alamo!
