This is my first time farming to***co remotely while living abroad. I wasn’t there to touch the soil every day. I wasn’t there to watch every sunrise over the fields. But I refused to let distance break my vision.

To anyone trying something for the first time, especially from a distance: don’t quit. Systems work. Vision works. Hard work speaks—even when you’re not there to speak for it.

This comment is racist and unacceptable. I will not engage in conversations that demean people based on race or ethnicity. If we’re going to interact here, it needs to be with basic respect.

✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️Even from miles away, my heart walks the fields back home.
I see the corn standing tall, reaching for the sky,
grown strong in my absence.
Every stalk feels like a promise kept,
every leaf a reminder of where I belong.
Distance may keep me away,
but my soul is still rooted in that soil. 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽

There is something grounding about farming that no other job can teach you. Before the world wakes up, the land is already calling—dew on the grass, soil under your boots, and the quiet promise of another day’s work. Farming isn’t just about crops or animals; it’s about patience, resilience, and faith in things you can’t always control.

Some days the sun cooperates, the rain comes at the right time, and the harvest feels like a reward for months of effort. Other days, storms test your strength and remind you how small we really are compared to nature. Yet, farmers show up anyway—planting hope with every seed, caring for the land like an old friend, and feeding families they may never meet.

Farming teaches humility and gratitude. It teaches you to celebrate small wins, respect the seasons, and trust the process. It’s not easy, but it’s honest work—and the heart behind every meal we share.

Here’s to the farmers who keep going, one sunrise at a time.
