At Sassafras Creek, we embrace ORGANIC farming and take great pride growing 60 varieties of delicious, healthy vegetables and fruit from spring to winter. Our mild climate and rich soils are perfect for growing tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, beets, sweet corn, greens and many other tasty foods. Our farm is USDA certified organic by Pennsylvania Certified Organic, and no synthetic chemicals are ever

used in production. Growing wholesome food in living soil is our #1 priority. We improve our soils by using organic compost, cover crops, natural minerals, as well as year-to-year crop rotations. We farm organically and sustainably. We define our work as:- farming that is environmentally responsible,- farming that is economically viable, and- farming that is socially just. • CABBAGE There’s nothing else like coleslaw made with fresh, crisp cabbage!
• CARROTS
• CAULIFLOWER, FIORETTO This not your Mama’s cauliflower…this is referred to as “sprouting or flowering” cauliflower. It’s more delicate and delicious, but you prepare it as you would regular cauliflower. Recommend steaming until just fork tender. So good.
• CHEAP FRILLS (Asian Greens Mix)
• CILANTRO

• CUCUMBERS (mild flavor, no bitterness; great in salads or, as is, with a little salt…very versatile cucumber)
