Whenever my mom (Peg Trotter Sites) announced a pregnancy, the kids would all try to name the baby. My siblings voted to name me Poncho! Luckily my dad overruled and they got to name a pony. My dad's horse was named Red Squirrel.

Have you been to Napa Valley Bistro ? It offers seasonal American cuisine “with a twist” of modern fare (great w**e list & cocktails) in a casual setting. It is owned and operated by Chef Bernardo- the best! He created the most spectacular food pairings for Casa Nuestra W**ery & Vineyards W**emaker dinners at the old Silverado Brewing. Lunch with w**e club members here was perfect. It was so pleasant, I meandered over Oakville Grade to go home!

In 2015, I met these gals in Calistoga when they arrived holding a "Private Tasting Certificate" that was auctioned at the American Fine W**e Invitational Gala Auction! They kept in touch and I got to celebrate birthdays with them 11 years later with a second Private Tasting!!

I had a great lunch meeting with my favorite w**e writer, Russel! & Stone in Kenwood is a favorite meeting spot - delicious! Look for a press release regarding the latest artist for Ben's Blend ;-) **e

Harvest was super early for a lot of Sonoma County Vineyards but right on schedule for other regions including Napa, Lake and Mendocino Counties... :-) no worries for me!

Another GOLD & TWO more DOUBLE GOLD medals for the 2022 vintage! Big shout of "thanks" to American Fine W**e Competition, Shari Gherman and Christopher Sawyer Sommelier for the beautiful awards ceremony (and the shiny new medals!). This event is so wonderful, I met so many w**emakers; big and small productions who all share a passion for w**emaking.
