Sourcing the highest quality fruit from his 125 producing acres, Dr. Tom Kenefick and his team create award-winning wines that are unique to their terroir. Kenefick Ranch Winery consists of 125 acres of mostly red Bordeaux varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Sauvignon Blanc as well as Viognier Marsanne and Grenache Blanc are also grown for white wine, in addition to Petite Sirah and Syrah.

Good morning and happy harvest weekend from Calistoga! We are moving right along this season with Cabernet Sauvignon looking and tasting beautiful! With some cooler temperatures, including this foggy morning, it allows us to get a few more days of hang time and helps to develop the flavors. Harvest is just around the corner and we’re seeing the signs all over the vineyard. Each varietal ripens at its own pace and we’re just starting to see our Merlot block go through veraison. Soon enough these berries will be picked and on their way to our 2024 Merlot!

This season has seen some high temperatures so far so we’re expecting an earlier harvest than normal. Stay tuned as we start the most exciting time of the year!

This vintage has a complex yet intricate aromatic profile of dried raspberry and plum. The palate is rich and structured with crème brûlée and dark berry preserve notes. The perfect wine to enjoy all July long!
