I just filmed a garden tour and wanted to share a little piece of what we've been growing here at Moon Toad Farms. From lush greens and colorful vegetables to the beauty of a thriving regenerative farm, it's amazing to see how much life can grow from a tiny seed.
This season's garden is a reflection of hard work, patience, healthy soil, and a whole lot of love. Whether you're a fellow gardener, a local food supporter, or just enjoy seeing things grow, I hope you'll enjoy the tour.

We loved having Trinity Center Elementary first field trip out to Moon Toad Farms!
Students got their hands dirty planting potatoes and onion slips and learning where their food comes from. We planted 15, 60 foot rows! Went on a walking tour of the land and talked about restoration work aling the river. We wrapped up the day a fresh healthy lunch. With full hearts, fresh air and muddy boots.

Hey friends and family, here's a short video. This year has gone by so fast with many days spent doing farm work. We have an abundance of potatoes if you know of any schools that would like to buy some and support the local food system, please send them my way. The apples are going to CAFE culinary action for education. Thank you!

The Farm is really coming along, we are finishing up the last few screws on the greenhouse. The new farm site expansion is underway, plowing for the first and only time, thanks to our good friends Erika & Shannon! Lee Lorrie Bundy helped me with proper tiling!🫶 We hope to start direct sowing/ planting by the beginning of June. Its been cold and windy. We have lots of new growth on the snaps, tomatoes, and peppers, and most importantly the strawberries are coming in, and they are sweet and juicy!

Hey everyone, I though I should share an update about what's going on at the farm. We are working full speed ahead trying to race this early warm weather, it feels as if we have jumped timelines and landed in early summer with these strong sunny days. We have all the veggie starts going and growing strong. We have been very fortunate to have friends who can come help us with putting in new fruit trees, rows of asparagus, and berries, we also took that opportunity to get some weeding done. The plan is to create a perennial garden in our existing space we are about half way done with the transition. The large greenhouse is under construction but we are getting close with that and will be able to house the starts soon. Ocean and I were up in the top field today and we are starting to clear out the small trees so we can run the box scraper and get the new growing space prepared. Hoping to get the soil delivery over the next few weeks just in time to plant out here in our short growing season! We look forward to the challenge and all the new adventures this year will bring! We cant wait to see the land transformation that is taking place and want to bring you along for the ride. We will upload photos soon, the clock says time for bed!
