Post & Vine Post & Vine is the dream of two gals that met years ago while working at a Napa Valley winery.

They desired to produce wines that reflect a sense of place, and the care and pride that goes into the vineyards and wine making. With a focus on small historical vineyards that have been managed sustainably by committed stewards, Post & Vine wine aims to tell a great story with every glass.

Some grapes never got famous - and that’s exactly why we love them.

I'm excited to be pouring Post & Vine Wines at the Festival of Unknown Grapes (formerly Festival of Forgotten Grapes) on January 31 in San Jose.

This festival celebrates rare, historic, and often overlooked grape varieties. Wines with deep roots, distinct character, and a story worth telling.

If you love discovery, curiosity, and wines off the beaten path, we’d love to pour you a glass.

🍇 See you there.

I visited the Testa Vineyard just after the Summer Solstice to check on how the 2024 vintage is progressing and I’m excited to share that this year has been exceptional so far!

A wet winter provided much-needed soil moisture, enabling these dry-farmed old vines to flourish with lush canopies. A smooth and uneventful spring resulted in an excellent flowering and crop set. Today, the vineyards are a picture of balance.

The Summer Solstice marks a crucial turning point. The vines are now shifting their focus from growing leaves to developing fruit. In the coming weeks, we anticipate the start of veraison—the magical phase when grapes transition from green to purple, signaling the final stage of ripening. During this time, the vines concentrate all their energy on developing the sugars and flavors.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this journey. Harvest 2024 is fast approaching and I look forward to sharing the fruits of this promising season with you!

We are honored that Post & Vine has been included in the 2024 Slow Wine Guide Book! The Slow Wine Guide selects wineries that respect and reflect their local terroir and practice sustainable methods that benefit the environment.

They write that our wines "are pure and expressive, reflecting the gentle care and attention a dedicated winemaker brings to her personal winery project.”

We were further honored to be awarded the COIN 💲 given to wineries whose bottles are good value for money.

Thank you Slow Wine Guide!

Our current favorite winter wine is the 2018 Post & Vine Testa Vineyard Old Vine Field Blend. Deep and full bodied, with flavors of cherry, pomegranate, and loamy earth the 2018 Old Vine Field Blend is perfect winter wine: pairing exceptionally with braised meats and aged cheeses. Try it paired with an 18-month aged Gouda to bring out the savory undertones and full bodied yet smooth textured tannins.

Hello again! It’s been a while and I think it’s time for a quick introduction.
Post & Vine is a North Coast-based winemaking project focused on sustainably produced wines from historic vineyard sites. Founded by Rebekah Wineburg in 2012, Post & Vine produces small amounts of artisanal, site-specific wines that deeply reflect the unique places from which they come. With over 20 years of winemaking experience in California, Italy, and New Zealand, I have had the privilege of working with some of the best vineyards in the world. At Post & Vine I focus on historic vineyards and use low-intervention cellar practices to produce wines that speak to the history and heritage of California.
