Good morning, flower friends! We’ll have a limited number of fresh-cut bouquets available at the flower stand starting at 10:00 AM this Saturday.

These early-season bouquets feature beautiful arrivals from the farm, including:

Arrowhead Ranch Flower Farm is looking for one person to help with weeding in our dahlia field.

🌿 $20.00 per hour
🌿 4–5 hours total
🌿 Outdoor work in a beautiful flower farm setting
🌿 Great for a student, gardener, retiree, or anyone who enjoys being outside

Our dahlias are coming up, but the weeds are growing just as fast! We’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty and helping us keep the flower farm looking its best.

Today is all about feeding the baskets! 🌸
We’re busy at the ranch giving our hanging baskets the nutrients they need to stay full, healthy, and blooming beautifully all season long.

Daily watering keeps them happy, but it also washes nutrients out over time — that’s why regular fertilizing makes such a difference! 🌺💧

Our tip: Feed your baskets once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer to keep those blooms coming strong!

Your hanging baskets are hungry!
All that beautiful growth and daily watering means nutrients wash out quickly — and regular feeding keeps your baskets full, colorful, and blooming all summer long.

💧 Our favorite tip:
Feed once a week for BIG healthy baskets!

✔️ Water first if the soil feels dry
✔️ Then apply fertilizer slowly and evenly
✔️ Feed in the morning or evening when temperatures are cooler

Wow… we are completely blown away by the love and support this year. Our famous Camano Island hanging baskets sold out in record time, and we truly cannot thank you enough.

Seeing cars lined up, friends visiting the farm, baskets heading to new homes, and hearing all your kind words made this season incredibly special for us. Every basket was planted, watered, trimmed, fertilized, and cared for right here at Arrowhead Ranch Flower Farm — and knowing they’ll now brighten porches, patios, and gardens all summer long means the world to us.

Thank you for supporting our little flower farm dream year after year. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 💛

Sometimes you have to go to great lengths to keep the mice from eating our pumpkin seed starts. 🌱🐭

Last year the mice were VERY clever. They weren’t interested in the plants… just the pumpkin seeds before they could sprout. So this year we planted the seeds in 4-inch pots and covered them with hardware cloth to keep those sneaky little snack thieves out.

The setup still makes it easy to water, and once the seedlings sprout, we’ll remove the cloth and let the pumpkins start growing. Around the flower farm there’s always a new challenge — and apparently this season it’s a battle of wits with the mice. 😂🎃

We will also be open Saturday from 9–1, the day before Mother’s Day, for hanging baskets and patio pots. We still have a few beautiful baskets left for Mom! 💐

We still have some big, beautiful hanging baskets waiting for a home 💐

We were so busy yesterday (thank you 💛) that I didn’t even get to share the most exciting thing…

We finally installed our huge hanging baskets on the tree stump 🌸🌿
And they turned out even better than I imagined.

A little wild… a little unexpected… and completely Arrowhead Ranch.
