We are a manufacturer of German sausages from Camarillo, California. As a German family run and operated business we put emphasis on quality and flavor while offering competitive prices. Our German sausages are very diverse in flavor and appearance. Naturally we use a lot of authentic German recipes that we brought when we came to the United States about 10 years ago. We have adapted all the commo

n and beloved sausages in the US, like the spicy or Italian brat. We took those recipes and gave them a little twist which we think even tops the flavor you know. We set very high standards for our products in every way. Be it flavor, appearance and of course a hygienic working environment. We are a USDA inspected facility and we never add any MSGs into our sausages. Our products are naturally gluten free and we don't use inferior meat like mechanically separated meat in our products. All the meat we put in our sausages is all natural.

We have some exciting news from the sausage kitchen:

After a little over a decade in Camarillo, our time has come to an end. It’s time for David and Carina to pass the Brats Business on to someone else. So YOUBITE will not close its doors: Keep your eyes posted on this instagram handle - the new owners have exciting times ahead of them and will introduce themselves to you soon.

We are incredibly thankful for you - our loyal customers (turned friends), fellow vendors and business partners (turned friends) and our neighborhood and community.
You have all made us feel so welcome and have created a home away from home (which is NOT making it easy to part ways from). But it’s time for us to be reunited with our family whom we have missed so much over the years.

We couldn’t have done this without you: From helping us find our niche market, to physically supporting me hobble around (after foolishly thinking I should take up Roller Derby 😅), to supporting us when we had our fist baby, helping put our shop location on the map, keeping us afloat during the pandemic, being extra supportive after the twins arrived, being our test-dummies for new recipes to challenging us to new heights with more and more products. We owe it all to you.

Made by 1. Generation Germans in Camarillo. Sometimes we yell at the sausages in German. Sometimes we play German Musik in the Wurst-Kitchen.

Our Story

We, a German family from Cologne, have settled in Camarillo to make delicious German sausages. As a German family run and operated business we put emphasis on quality and flavor while offering competitive prices. Our German sausages are very traditional and authentic. Yet, when introducing new products we don’t shy away from new flavors and cross recipes from all over the world.

Of course, mainly we use a lot of authentic German recipes that we brought when we came to the United States. We set very high standards for our products in every way. Be it flavor, appearance and of course a hygienic working environment. We are a USDA inspected facility and we are holding ourselves to the highest standards. Our products are naturally gluten free, free of dairy and all other allergens (unless otherwise specified, i.e. in a cheese sausage which naturally contains dairy)
