Either way…there’s never a dull moment around here!

Last week, our Indiana farm experienced a record breaking flood.

In just 24 hours, we received 12.8 inches of rain. It was unbelievable to watch the amount of water rushing through our fields and across the farm. Roads became streams, fields turned into ponds, and the creeks were running hard.

We have probably lost some crops, and there will certainly be some cleanup to do. But as we look at these pictures, we are reminded just how much we have to be thankful for.
We are thankful that our farm sits on higher ground and that our family, home, and livestock were safe.

Our hearts especially go out to our neighbors in town and to others across Indiana who experienced devastating flooding and lost their homes and belongings. What we may have lost in crops is nothing compared to what so many families are facing.

And we want to say a huge thank-you to all of you who reached out, checked on us, prayed for us, and asked if the farm was okay. Your messages meant more than you know.

The last two weeks have been filled with sweet corn, lots of work, and even more family time. ❤️

Our family worked together to put up sweet corn for five families—from picking and shucking to cutting, packaging, and getting it all tucked away in freezers for the year.

It’s definitely a LOT of work… but there’s something special about everyone pitching in, the kids finding their own ways to help, and spending long summer days together under the trees. 🌽☀️

And while we really do enjoy doing it together, I have to admit…
I’m pretty happy to say we’re DONE with sweet corn for another year! 😂🙌

Farm life isn’t always easy—but these are the days and memories I wouldn’t trade. 🌽❤️

Several of you, saw our large patch of sweet corn and asked if we would be selling any and our answer was always, "maybe". We have finished putting up corn for 5 families, have kept the c***s and birds out, and now David & Caleb are selling the extra.

Come and get it before it's gone!

This little Jersey heifer had just entered the world, and Mama stayed close, watching over every movement. Moments like these never get old and are a reminder of God's amazing design and faithfulness.

The garden has officially taken off! 🌱

We're thankful for the sunshine, the rain, and God's blessings. Fresh green beans, potatoes, zucchini, and more are making their way from the garden straight to our table. There's nothing quite like homegrown food and the joy of harvesting what you've planted. ❤️
