What an extended Memorial day weekend it was for Tay and her girls! Taylor and the gilts are exhausted but they brought the heat when they needed it the most. We often push Taylor to step outside her comfort zone and attend new shows, make new friends and experience all that this show world has to offer her. This weekend she did just that. We headed to Indiana for an extended weekend. She came home with banners, prizes and buckles galore, but most of all the memories and experiences that she encounters each and every weekend shape this young lady into who she is today.

What can I say about this gilt. She was in rough shape when we got her, but nothing a lot of TLC, drastic feed changes, and a good hair cut couldn't help. Not only did she bring the heat in Light Crosses, when Taylors showmanship pig took a down spell, Doja stepped in and helped Taylor drive to 2 showmanship wins this weekend.

Marci and the crew were absolutely gems as always, and the show ran smoothly. We wouldn't miss these shows for nothing! A great weekend as we decided to stay closer to home and attend Patriot Palooza Livestock Show .

Yet another weekend of sweeping showmanship and she couldn't do it without God at her side and a crew pushing her to success!

The comments this weekend described her so well, " she's a baller, this is her craft, this is her sport, she excells", those words show the hard work and dedication this young lady puts into this industry, her drive and compassion sure does show in the ring!

It's was also a special moment watching Taylor, Zhoe, and Carter sweep their showmanship divisons and face each other in the final drive both days. All 3 of these kiddos have a passion, strive to be their best and take advice well. We are beyond proud to stand behind them each and everytime they enter the ring

Road trip!
Taylor tried out something new this weekend and we couldnt be more proud of her. Not only did she take her pigs, but she also took on 2 new species, goats & lambs(hence the road trip).

Even though goat showmanship may not be her thing just yet with one of the smallest goats out there, she did great. And what can I say, she killed it in lamb showmanship, 1st time showing and a call back, it's only up from here 🙂 and Lucy placed high in class as well. Special thanks to the Fowlers for helping Taylor through every step of this new process.

And of course, we can't forget Taylor and the show gilts.

Nothing better than coming home from a show weekend and seeing another Poland litter in the crates. 9 healthy polands, and Nellie did it all on her own as a gilt. We pick them to not only hang banners but also to do it solo when it comes to farrowing!
