Cambridge Village Market A true Vermont market in the heart of Cambridge. Grocery, local dairy, deli, meat department, bakery, gas and so much more!

Cambridge Village Market has the largest fully-stocked grocery store in the area, where you will find the freshest meats, local produce, and a large selection of beer and wine. We also feature a deli shop that will have your sandwiches made to order, and we offer gasoline, kerosene & propane services as well. We're conveniently located just a short drive from Smugglers' Notch Resort, so we're the

perfect place to do your shopping while staying at the resort any time of year! The Cambridge Village Market was originally built in the 1850's and has always served as a grocery store. In the 1900's, it was known as The Willey Brothers Store. However, fifty years later, the store became The Cambridge Community Lockers, where the locals would rent refrigerator and freezer space to store food. Eventually, in the late 1960's the food lockers were removed.Bruce MacMillan purchased the store in 1990 and ran the store for 31 years. Ron and Linda Frey purchased the market in 2023. 3 weeks after the purchase the store flooded for the first time since 1927. This will not stop them from making sure The Cambridge Village Market continues to grow and serve the community in the tradition of a true, Vermont country store. We did not realize the gumball machines that we ordered did not have gumballs in them (why the heck would someone want an empty gumball machine?!) 🤷🏼‍♀️😆

So we've purchased boxes of gumballs and have put gumballs in all of the machines!

We've had a few customers ask us recently about beef. Just to ensure our information was correct we reached out to our grocery supply company to confirm that all of the beef we order is domestic. We order mostly Certified Angus Beef ® brand beef with some Select Grade ribeye and N.Y strip. All raised and processed right here in the US.

We understand everyone is different in what they prefer for beef (and everything else 🫠😆) but we try and offer as many products as our little store can hold.

So we also offer ground beef and frozen ribeye steaks from Pleasant Valley Field & Forest Products. We HIGHLY recommend these products, absolutely amazing and it's beef from right here in Cambridge!

We've tried offering more local products but unfortunately they just do not sell well enough to justify keeping them on the shelves. We appreciate your support and we also encourage that you support our local farmers in anyway you can 💗
