Happy Driver Appreciation Week! 🚚 Today, we are proud to recognize Juan Pablo Castillo.

Juan began his career with C.W.P. /Shaw's back in 2019 right out of Tractor Trailer Training School. Since that time, he has proven to be a safe dependable driver and team player. He has driven thousands of safe miles, servicing Shaw's and Star Markets throughout New England. He is also an experienced and skilled yard jockey helping his team at the DC over the years.

Juan has been recognized not only for his years of service and safe driving but also for going above and beyond by giving lifesaving assistance to a motorist in need. Juan is an exceptional professional CDL-A Driver, and we are fortunate to have him as part of our team.

Jairo started his career with Shaw’s CWP on April 23, 2020, and has been a valued member of the Wells driving team ever since. As a Driver Trainer, Jairo shared his knowledge and experience with several drivers, helping to promote safe, efficient operations and supporting the success of those around him. His positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to help make him a respected teammate and an important part of our transportation team.

One bite and you’ll be hooked: Summer’s crunchiest treat is here- and so easy with Star Market pre-cut fruit.

Ingredients: watermelon, sugar and bowl of water with ice cubes water, and chopsticks

1. Pour white sugar into pot with boiling water
2. Pierce watermelon cubes from the container onto chopsticks
3. When sugar water gets to 300 degrees dip skewered watermelon into boiling water
4. Quickly remove and dip in ice bath and then rest on tray
