It's that time of year again ...

🦀🦀 TASTE OF CAMBRIDGE 2026 is just THREE MONTHS away! 🦀🦀

Applications are officially OPEN for Cook-Off contenders and vendors.

In honor of America's 250th, the theme for this year's Taste is "Celebrating our Heritage," and to commemorate our rich heritage in seafood and agriculture, we have added a NEW Cook-Off category this year -- MARYLAND CLASSIC.

We are once again partnering with Dorchester Center for the Arts and offering a discount for vendors participating in both Taste of Cambridge and the 50th Dorchester Showcase.

MILK BREAD is back this week at the Harriett’s House Inc booth! We tried this last week and it was nothing short of amazing!

We LOVE Market Days!!

We are increasing our Japanese Milk Bread production this week to meet the response we had at the market last week! We will have 8 loaves and some dinner rolls.

If you saw a large group of people walking through the Cambridge Main Street District today, that was a group of Main Street Directors from across Maryland and representatives from the Main Street Maryland Coordinating Program, operated by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, all of whom were enjoying time in Cambridge.

Special thanks to Adrian Holmes of Alpha Genesis CDC, who shared details about the “Beacon of Hope” Statue and Harriet Tubman’s ties to our community;” Linda Harris, who toured us through the newly-renovated Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center; RAR Brewing for allowing us to pop by and share the history of their building; The Packing House, which is home to a local office of DHCD, and Margaret Norfleet-Neff of Cross Street Partners for a wonderful tour of the building and grounds; 3ten Art Gallery for a tour of the gallery and providing information about the importance of the arts in our community; and Dorchester Chamber of Commerce for welcoming our group.

We LOVE showing others why we LOVE Cambridge so much!

Today, we had the honor and privilege of hosting Erin Barnes, President and CEO of Main Street America, in the Cambridge Main Street District, spending several hours touring the District and discussing our rich heritage and revitalization efforts.
