5 years ago today, you came for your first milking shift. You were so quiet, which was so different than your uncle, I wondered how you could be related.
You apprehensively watched as I struggled and made strange noises during milking, not knowing I was pregnant with morning sickness.
When every little smell made me gag and run for the bathroom, you picked up the slack as best you could. And you HANDLED the calf barn and ALL the new responsibilities put on you like a pro.
Back then, you barely said a word, and definitely didn't share an opinion. Fast forward to today...we wonder how you can talk SO MUCH and those opinions! Whew!
We are SO GLAD you opened up, because you have wonderful ideas and you have changed this farm for the better.
We thank God for you, and cherish your place in our family. We love you, girl! Happy 5th Anniversary!

Hebbe Farms, LLC in Fort Atkinson, WI is looking for a weekend milker to join our 150-cow dairy crew. We are located at W7879 County Rd C. Our ideal candidates are reliable and šŸ„animal lovers.
Responsibilities:
Setup milkhouse and parlor
Clean waterers and cow beds
Bring cows into holding area and parlor
Follow prep routine
Clean up milkhouse and parlor
Communicate any issues with manager
Qualifications:
Animal handling experience
Positive attitude

Dairy Farm Hand /Operator position available immediately for an "all-around person" who has a love of farming and cows. Position offers a variety of duties on a multi-location 200 cow dairy in Cambridge and Fort Atkinson, that strives to keep our cows and employees happy. In addition to the dairy, the farm runs about 1000 acres for feed and cash cropping.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must have a minimum of 3 months verifiable work experience driving tractors & implements
Mechanical skills preferred
Must be able to operate a manual straight truck
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, climb, sit for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work with all types of people
Must be reliable and willing to work flexible hours during harvest season
Must possess a driverā€™s license
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities:
Perform general farm labor duties including, but not limited to, operating farm equipment such as tractors, trucks, skid loaders, and implements to produce feed, bedding, and grain and manure handling
Perform manual labor duties including simple repairs, equipment maintenance (e.g., greasing and monitoring fluids), and other assigned farm related duties
Besides field work, the position involves milking cows a few 4-hour shifts per week

Benefits:
Compensation: $15/hour, negotiable based on experience
Sign-On Bonus -$2000 paid over 12 months
Housing may be available

This is a great position for someone who enjoys doing a variety of jobs during the week!
