We planted 50 acres of 12 different seed type including sunflowers, sorghum sudan and chick peas, with a goal of helping the quail population. This is the results of the bird listening devices placed around the area! 94 species including bald eagle!

Look what we did!

Introducing our farm to table burger 🍔
After a few years of experimenting, we’re finally ready to show off our take on a burger!

Our 6-ounce patties are made from our own beef raised right here at Cottingim Farms, then processed by our local Barnes Butcher Shop and served on a gourmet brioche bun.
This isn’t a mass-produced burger. We’ve put a lot of time, care, and expense into raising the beef and sourcing the best ingredients to make a burger we’re proud to put our name on.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together!

Standard Burger — $9.00
Cheeseburger — $9.50
The Polly Burger — $11.00
American cheese, sliced pickles, Roma tomato & red onion
And pair it with our new Cosmic Fries and a pop for just $15! 🍟🥤

Come give our burger a try and let us know what you think. Thank you for supporting our local business!

If you’re one of the people who wanted hay this year and was told we probably won’t have much to sell, we have 100 bales of second cut left. 8.25 a bale. Our buyer for most of third found hay option several hours closer so we will have 3rd to sell as well in about 2 weeks!

Every so often we’re blessed with twins. Hopefully Lucy and Ethel will be on this farm for a long time! We still have some availability on hogs going in to be processed in July.

We decided to raise a couple pigs this year, it has been several years. They will be going into Barnes butcher in Camden July 10th. We have 2 300+ pound hogs available. They are $250 for a half and $425 for a whole. You’re responsible for butchers fee.

They are a Red Wattle breed and according to the breeder and Google “Red Wattle pork is renowned for its high quality, featuring a deep, rich, and savory flavor profile with exceptional tenderness and juiciness. It is a heritage breed prized by chefs for its dark-hued, well-marbled meat—particularly in chops and bacon—which offers a superior, intense taste compared to conventional pork.”
