CAMDEN, Ala. — A Wilcox County civil jury awarded a Camden resident $1.5 million on Friday, August 21, 2026, for injuries sustained in a 2022 collision involving a Watan Express, Inc. tractor-trailer. The plaintiff was represented by Attorney John Stamps of The Black Belt Law Group.

“I am proud that the jury saw through the unwarranted attacks on on my client and returned a fair and just verdict. My client will have to live with the pain and suffering caused by this collision for the rest of his life. I will always fight the good fight for my client and the people of the Black Belt. I also commend Judge Bryan Jones for the excellent job he did presiding over this case. I trust the jury’s judgment, and my firm is fully prepared to defend this verdict on appeal,” stated Attorney Stamps.
