I always feel like everyday I wake up and have to figure out what I am going to do today to keep my chickens and ducks alive. 😆🫶🏻
I have been working hard to install new heat sources and added loads of hay in advance of this winter weather. I feel good about it just praying for no loss of power. Plus- I have a bunch of chicks going into lockdown Saturday 🤞
Before you know it spring will be here and everything will be wanting to kill a chicken to feed to their new spring borns and the summer heat is always another tough one.
I hope everyone stays safe out there! We got this!!

I have some homemade items up for grabs! Homemade vanilla extract, Easter wreaths and active sourdough kits!

Vanilla Extract - $20
Made with grade A Madagascar Vanilla beans and Tito’s vodka. 4 oz bottles. Bottled September 2024.

Active Sourdough starter kit - $25
50 oz of active starter. Comes in a 12oz Weck jar along with maintenance instructions and a sourdough recipe. Active and bubbly! Ready to bake with! Fed with King Arthur’s bread flour. Never refrigerated.

Easter Wreaths - $65
26” decorated. I also make custom themed wreaths for any occasion. Please DM me with requests and pricing. I also can make smaller wreaths to fit any budget! 12” and up.

My F2 “olive egger” laid this beauty. There is always a 50/50 chance of brown/olive colored eggs with the higher gens. I’m not disappointed. It’s going into the incubator with 25 other pretty eggs. Baby chicks will be available the 2nd week of March! I will have F3 olive eggers and purebred Partridge Silkies!
