Pond update. I was sitting last evening by the pond listening to the water. 💦 I heard some loud, throaty chirps. I walked toward the sound with my phone flashlight and discovered this guy. He is a northeastern tree frog. I heard another one about six feet away. So now I am up to 4 frogs, more may be lurking. My camera takes awesome nighttime shots. A big noise for such a little guy.

“If you build it, they will come.” Frogs already. In my 3 day old pond. Excuse the muck, we had a heavy rainstorm last night.

Establishing a fish and frog sanctuary is ongoing, and Day 3 has been completed. By 8:30 this morning, the temperature had already risen to 80 degrees, which is quite warm for my Scandinavian blood. The arrival of the fountain pump is expected around 7pm. I was able to acquire some excellent plants at a discounted price from Robinson's Nursery yesterday. The placement of rocks and planting are still in progress. Fish introduction is scheduled for next week. The project completion date remains set for the fourth, with updates to follow on progress made. Drlinda Faber Robinson's Nursery
