So I completed my first spin… and WOW am I addicted already 😂🐑🧶

So far we’ve got some serious art yarn happening over here. If you weave, get with me because I’ve got plenty and honestly… it’s pretty!! Every spin gets a little better and I can’t wait until I start getting more consistent.

With that being said… who would be interested in yarn in the future?! I’ll be experimenting with hand dyed yarn soon and would LOVE to eventually offer not only my own yarn, but yarn from other local artisans too if there’s interest!

Huge thank you to America’s Natural Fiberworks for getting me some roving so quickly to help kick off this new addiction 💕🐑

Pretty sure my ADHD just upgraded instead of going away.

As a kid:
• Started 37 hobbies
• Lost everything except random useless facts
• Hyperfocused on weird projects at midnight

As an adult:
• Bought sheep
• Bought a spinning wheel
• Now I’m out here researching wool prep like I’m auditioning for Little House on the Prairie 🐑🧶🤣

Some people cope with ADHD by making lists.
Apparently I cope by accidentally starting a 1700s homestead.

Around here, I’m the official feed specialist—measuring, mixing, and acting like I 100% knew what I was doing the whole time.

My 7-year-old son is the “professional showman”… which is hilarious because he also thinks walking a lamb for 30 seconds counts as a full practice session and that yelling “LOOK ALIVE” is a valid show technique.

He’s learning fast though. Maybe too fast. One minute he’s asking where the feed scoop is, the next he’s critiquing my mixing like he pays the bills.

We’ve got a solid division of labor: I keep the lambs fed like royalty, and he keeps them walked, worked, and convinced they were born to win banners.

Honestly at this point I’m just the support staff for his future career in taking all the credit.

Farm life: I make the feed, he makes the fame… and somehow I’m pretty sure I’m the one working for him.
