We held an auction for a young twelve year old entrepreneur who volunteers his Saturdays here on Ole Timer's Farm. He was auctioning a birdhouse gourd.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Amanda Putrell, who placed the winning bid of $100 on the birdhouse gourd, hand crafted and put to auction by our young friend.

Your kindness and support mean far more than the value of the bid. By investing in this young person's hard work, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit, you have encouraged the next generation to dream big, work diligently, and believe in the value of their talents.

Your awesome act of generosity is a wonderful example of community service in action, and we are truly grateful for your willingness to support youth achievement and local initiatives. Thank you for making a positive impact and for helping a young entrepreneur experience the rewards of dedication and perseverance.

With sincere appreciation,
Mr. & Mrs. Farmer

12 pounds of onions, 42 minutes!!

From setting up to finishing clean up, I processed 12 pounds of onions, vacuum sealed them, and got them in the freezer.

Set aside 1 hour this weekend and never chop onions again for months. Most families buy onions over and over throughout the year. What if you bought them once and were done for months?

We have onions for sale. Grown organically. No chemical fertilizers. No pesticides. Just onions. Texas Super Sweets. $2.25/pound right now. Price increase takes effect at the end of the week.

945 Field Trial Road in Camden. Text order to 863-221-9073. See you soon.

Available today:

9 Dozen Eggs $6.00/dozen
Radish (a few bunches left) $3.50/bunch
Chard $5.00/pound
Texas Super Sweet Onions (*see note below)
Broiler Chicken $5.60/pound (6 remaining)
Chicken Heart/Liver Packs $5.00/each
Chicken Necks for broth $5.00/pack
Chicken Feet (broth or dog treats) $5.00/pack

*Note: For the remainder of this week, onion pricing will remain at $2.25/pound. However, we had to harvest when they were ready, so this season's onions are requiring extended curing and storage to ensure the quality our customers expect. Due to the additional time, labor, and facility costs involved, we will be increasing the price to $3.00/pound effective June 14. This will give you time to purchase your onions at the lower price. Most people consume their onions cooked, so consider buying a surplus and cutting them up for freezer storage to add to recipes or dishes.
