Surgery done. On the way to recovery. Doing okay. Thank you ALL for your well wishes and prayers. Special thank you to those who remembered and took the time to text me to see how I was doing. My phone has been buzzing all day

Looking forward to a time in the very near future, where I can get around the farm and do chores without crying in pain. My foot has been bad for a couple years.

Mr. Farmer is working the farm alone until I can walk again. So, any volunteer help would be a blessing. We have lots of light and medium duty jobs that he could use help with. Reach out by text to 863-221-9073.

We started with 101....

28 hours later, we only have 5 broilers left. Come and pick up some of the best chicken, we think. As fast as they go, our customers must think they are awesome, too.

Pastured. Fed 100% nonGMO non-soy organic feed. No antibiotics. No chemical dewormers, but lots of herbs and spices. Good, clean food to nourish your body.

We also have 6 stew hens remaining. You know you're gonna make soup as the weather gets cold. These stew hens will make an awesome broth base for a wholesome soup.

Almost Sold Out! Pasture Broilers Ready for Pickup Tomorrow! 🐔

Take a look inside the freezer—most of our organically-fed pasture broilers are already bagged and claimed!

What you see left of these unbagged is ALL WE HAVE for the rest of the season. Once these last few birds are gone, that's it until next year!

Pickup officially starts Saturday, October 17th at 11:00 AM. Bulk order customers (12+) may arrive at 10:00 a.m. to avoid the rush. If you want to make sure your family gets fresh, organically fed non-soy, pasture-raised chicken for the freezer, you need to act fast. (NO antibiotics, NO chemical dewormer)

Baby is enjoying a romp outdoors today.

Unfortunately, her cornish genes have clicked on and she is turning into a full fledged cornish cross broiler. We had hoped, because she initially was so tiny, her White Rock genes would dominate.

This means her life expectancy will probably be limited. At the end of the clip, that was a little bitty butterfly that spooked her. So funny. The butterfly kept fluttering around her and she kept running. I had to hurry and fetch her.

She getting a bath today!!

We've gone and done it....
....we pulled all the summer crops out to make room for winter crops. It killed me! Absolutely killed me!!

All summer, the plants struggled to produce in the blistering heat. Now that the temps have been decent, all the plants were absolutely heavy with produce. We pulled up tomato plants with hundreds of tomatoes on them....and don't even get me going about the beautiful pepper plants.

But, winter and upcoming 40 degree nights are on the menu, so it had to be done. Take a look at how bare it looks in the high tunnel.

Sweeter Heaters, and why we switched.

We moved the babies out to pasture today. Come see them in their mansion.
