Let's talk about it in the comments! What does access to healthy foods look like to you? What would make you buy more produce?

At Co-op Camden, we believe youth have the power to break the cycle of generational health disparities. Learning to grow your own food is an essential skill and a pathway to greater freedom and self-sufficiency.

We celebrated another successful season with the students who spent this year exploring ways to Heal, Learn, Grow, and Own while developing business ideas, community solutions, and a deeper understanding of cooperative values.

To close things out, students made pizza using real tomato sauce from a visit to Center for Environmental Transformation's garden, connecting the dots between sustainability, food preservation, and cooperative practice. Through pizza-making, cooperative games, a memory station, and group reflections, students revisited the values that guided our work together: Self-Help, Self-Responsibility, Democracy, Equality, Equity, Solidarity, Honesty, Openness, and Caring for Others.🌱

Proud of this crew. Here's to what's next! 🎉
