A special Thank You to Dr. Henderson of Terra Veterinary for coming just as the holiday weekend was beginning. I texted her at 4:30 after I found Dirtyboots with a big open wound on his cheek. She came right up from Lebanon, fixed the poor guy up and was gone in less than 30 minutes! We are lucky to have such a gem for a vet.
She and her vet tech were so kind. Poor Dirtyboots just wanted comfort and they provided a shoulder for him. 💕🐴

It has been awhile! Yesterday Addy and I worked in the barn while it rained all day. We did have a surprise!
We had a turtle in the corner of Girlie’s stall! That’s a new one. He was a scared little guy but after taking pics with him, we put him back. Cute little guy!
Girlie was in a snuggling mood and Cal the kitty always is always in a snuggling mood!

It is hot here friends! I think we set a record high. 🫣My hubby had the hose going for 10 minutes just cooling horses down. They went back to eating EXCEPT for the two thoroughbreds…. Girlie and Cornbread. 🤦🏼‍♀️
