Okay… NOW we can tell you what we were doing in Virginia. 👀

Meet BELLA FATTORIA TUCK MY LUCK, our newest herd sire. 🐐💙

And before anyone asks… I did not buy him. Husband did. I swear!

Apparently, after watching me obsess over pedigrees, udders, LA scores, and every other goat-related detail imaginable, he decided he was going to pick out a buck himself.

I dare say, he made a pretty darn good choice. 😏

Tucker comes from a pedigree that has a LOT going on.

His sire, HAYMAKER FARM OH DADDY, is backed by Agape’s Prize Money Pox and GCH Denbow Acres PT Gypsy 5*M (VEEE 91), an ELITE doe who was the 6th yearling milker at the 2022 ADGA Nationals.

His dam, BETTER WAYZ MOCHACCINA 5*M (VEEE 90), is backed by Amethyst Acres G Zebulon +B ELITE and SGCH Better Wayz Swiss Mocha 4*M (EEEE 92).

✨ Multiple Elite animals
✨ Proven milk genetics
✨ National-level recognition

That combination is exactly what we’re looking for - beautiful animals with the genetics and production behind them to make an impact on the next generation.

And apparently, my husband has decided he’s allowed to have opinions about which goats come home now. 😂

Welcome home, Tucker. We have a feeling you’re going to be a pretty important part of what comes next. 🧡

So… remember how we said we’ve been rebuilding the farm?

Well, last Saturday we found ourselves somewhere in Virginia, driving down roads that apparently forgot what a straight line is. 😂

We had a pretty exciting reason for being there.

Any guesses what we were up to? 🤦🏼‍♀️

A weekend… 🧡

08/20/2026

So… remember all those little signs I’ve been talking about? Well, last weekend was the direct result of one of them. 😂

I happened to cross paths with someone who was looking to rehome an adult doe and her kid. The doe is 9 years old, and I immediately had a soft spot for her. Because… Quinn. 🧡

And then I started looking at her pedigree. 👀 That’s when things got really interesting. There are some incredible genetics behind this doe, and the more I learned about her, the more I wanted to find a way to bring her home.

Somehow, after a series of events that I’m still not entirely sure how to explain, two goats turned into 13. 😂

So last weekend, we loaded up the truck and trailer and left at 8am for a 10-hour round trip to bring them all home.

Was it a long day? Absolutely.
Was it a little crazy? Probably.
Would I do it again? 🫣

But honestly, pulling back into the driveway with that trailer full of goats was pretty surreal. These 13 are such an exciting addition to what we have working to rebuild. There are some really special animals in this group, and I’m so excited to see how they fit into our plans for the future.

After everything it took to get back to this point, having that many new faces standing on the trailer was one of those moments where I just had to stop and think, how did this actually happen? 😂

And I can’t wait to introduce them to you. 🧡 🐐

I’ve always believed that the world has a way of showing you when you’re on the right path. And honestly, there have been a LOT of those moments over the last few months.

One of the really special parts of coming back to goats has been reconnecting with former customers who have become friends over the years. Because of these friendships and connections, we’ve been able to bring home pieces of our old herd’s genetics.

And, one of the most meaningful has been Quinn.

When we first got into goats, we bought five goats from the same farm. Quinn was one of those five.

She celebrated her 10th birthday this year, and now, she’s home again.

And the craziest part? She hasn’t missed a beat. She settled right back in like she never left. Her favorite thing to do is to lay under the maple tree or on the slide and enjoy life. 😂

Quinn has been part of so many chapters of our goat journey, and having her here again feels like one of those little signs that maybe, just maybe, we really are exactly where we’re supposed to be. 🧡 🐐

This video of Quinn and Stiehl from 9 years ago has me in a puddle. 🫠

There’s something kind of exciting about starting over.

When we sold out, we knew that if we ever came back to goats, there would be a lot of rebuilding involved. And there definitely is. 😅 We’ve had to replace things we sold, rebuild things we used to have, and basically start putting the pieces of the farm back together.

But one of the really nice things about starting over is that we get to do some things better this time. We built a new milk/hoof trimming/all the things stand. And this time, we made it TALLER. Because apparently, I didn’t think about how much bending over I’d be doing the first time around between milking, trimming hooves, giving haircuts, etc. My back would like to thank me. 😂

There are lots of little things like that. Things we learned the first time around that we can change or improve now that we’re rebuilding.

We’re definitely not starting from scratch. We have everything we learned the first time around with us.
There’s still a LOT to do, but it’s really fun watching the pieces start to come together again.

And standing here with a bunch of goats around me, next to something we built ourselves, again? Yeah. It feels really good to be back. ❤️🐐

I hope everyone’s week started off just like this. 🥰
