Things are finally starting to take shape in the garden, and we’re loving every second of it. Raised beds are looking better than ever, seedlings are thriving, and the watering system is officially up and running (hello, less stress and more consistency!).
This year’s focus is on growing not just for us—but for our animals too. We’re aiming to supplement feed with fresh garden produce for the chickens, rabbits, quail, and even the pigs and cows. It’s part of our bigger goal of making this homestead as self-sustaining as possible.
There’s still a long way to go, but seeing the progress reminds us why we started. Dirt under the nails, sunshine on our backs, and the joy of watching life grow—this is the good stuff.
