We're looking for another crew member to join our farm team to harvest ripe peaches, blueberries and apples and prep for farmers’ markets and care for fruit trees, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, etc.
Positions available May/June to August or November. Possibility to extend to year-round.
Solid candidates will possess interest in farming
and be willing to work outdoors standing/walking for 6-8 hours and carrying up to 25-50 pounds. Eagerness to learn and be part of a team producing ripe fruit for devoted customers is important. Candidates interested in fermentation also a bonus, but the position is focused on farming/orcharding.
James Creek grows 24 varieties of peaches, ripening early June through August, organic southern blueberries, pears and 97 varieties of apples, southern heirloom and European cider varieties, ripening August through November.
