As the sun rose this morning, I was challenged to remember why we have this holiday.

It's a painful day for many. Please join us in praying for those who will have an empty seat at the table this year...possibly for the very first time.

I imagine it was a paralyzing day for those who were handed a folded flag at a graveside service.

It's allows us to be a proud America. Words cannot do justice, but we appreciate their sacrifice that allows us to live in the "LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE".

Please do not let the sun go down before you thank God for those who were willing to put their lives in harm's way for our freedom. Pray for protection for those who still do...

Also, thank Him for sacrificing His son for us so that we can have the opportunity to have eternal life in Heaven one day.
