Delfino Farms

Delfino Farms Come year round to visit our winery honoring our patriarch, Edio Delfino or to taste Henrietta Stich hard cider.
(256)

And, in the Fall, come visit our 60 year old bakery dedicated to our matriarch, Joan Delfino, to stock up on homemade baked goods and pies! Since 1964, Edio and Joan Delfino have loved sharing their farm with Apple Hill visitors. Originally, the Delfino Family named their farm Kids Incorporated after their seven children. That name will always be treasured in our hearts; however, to honor them and

the entire Delfino family, we have changed our name to Delfino Farms with the bakery name changing to Joan’s Apple Bakery. We are also excited to announce that Edio Vineyards is coming soon! Featuring wine from grapes grown on the farm, we’ve named the vineyard in honor of our patriarch, Edio Delfino, original co-founder of Apple Hill. Come visit us, sip our Henrietta Stich Hard Cider and enjoy our famous Walkin’ Pie!

June 19th & 20th we’ll be having a rare FotF double-header!

6/19 - is jumping the pond and making a stop at the farm on their west coast tour. The soulful vibes will be immaculate and can’t be missed!

6/20 - makes old-school southern music for the modern world. She’s a proud daughter of Alabama, writing songs that nod to the state’s tradition of country storytelling, rock ‘n’ roll rebellion, and guitar-driven grit. The farm will be rockin and we can’t wait!

Soul Pop from London one night and some Country and Southern Rock from Alabama on the next. Personally, we recommend being here for both! 😉

—————————————————————

“The sandy shores of Asbury Park, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the Northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. Dogs In A Pile, an eclectic quintet, has emerged as the heir apparent to the town’s rich musical legacy. Merging funk, jazz, and rock and roll with psychedelia, the band presents a completely original vibe built on kaleidoscopic soundscapes eerily reminiscent of the days of yesteryear.

The Dogs employ a unified approach to performance and songwriting, crafting aural mosaics through adept instrumentation and humble precocity. As avid storytellers, they draw inspiration from personal experiences, balancing life’s foibles with ever-present youthful sanguinity.

Dogs formed when Jersey Shore native and guitar gun-slinger Jimmy Law began playing with family friend Joe Babick (drums) at a young age. Lightning struck when they were introduced to Berklee School of Music student and bass player Sam Lucid, who immediately suggested fellow Berklee student and keyboard player Jeremy Kaplan. The addition of Berklee student Brian Murray (guitar) in 2019 made for the quintessential final piece in the Dogs’ puzzle.

A string of sold-out local shows drove the development of a massive Northeast fan base, affectionately known as the Dog Pound. As the band has traversed new territory, their astronomical rise has continued nationwide. Armed with an evolving catalog of material and cultivation of an identity unique to Dogs In A Pile, the quintet is laying down a musical and communal foundation most often associated with the scene’s most beloved acts.”
