I had a very exciting hour out checking cows. Found we had a new baby, yay!! Also found we had a visitor, one of the neighbors bull calves...not so "yay"! The one time I dont put my hair up and put on boots and I have to evict a guest.
Sure am glad I watched so much Dukes of Hazzard because all that fancy driving and jumping hills comes in handy when you're running down a bull. However, my girls were not one bit impressed or disturbed by all of the chaos and every time he would get near them, they just stood in my way, completely unamused by me shouting "move mamas, MOVE". Of course the bull didn't seem to respond to me yelling "you better not turn around on me" or "dont you dare go through my fence" either. Sure was glad when reinforcement arrived! Note to self: be prepared for chaos EVERY TIME you check the cows! All is well now and I snapped a quick pic of one of babies just because they always make me smile. Baby cow therapy is the best!!
