Luke’s brother, Liam, found his family this past Saturday…and now it’s his turn 💛

This sweet boy is as adorable as he is loving. He’s at the perfect stage to bring home, bond with, and train—ready to grow right alongside his new family. Luke loves going on adventures just as much as he loves curling up for snuggles at the end of the day.

He has the cutest curly tail, a curious spirit, and a playful personality. Luke is friendly with everyone and everything he meets—he truly just wants to love and be loved. Luke is fully vetted and microchipped, and ready to go home with his forever family!

One of the sweetest moments happened right before Liam left. I was talking to both of them, explaining what was about to happen and that it was time to say goodbye. Just moments later, they had this little stand-off and started playing until Liam’s family arrived—it truly felt like they understood and were saying goodbye in their own way. It was incredibly touching.

Fostering has been such a rewarding experience for our family. We recently received a message from the family who adopted our very first foster puppy—thanking us for helping them find their best friend. Moments like that are so heartwarming and remind us why this matters.

There are so many animals waiting for someone to love them. Helping in even a small way makes a difference—and Luke is ready to be that difference for someone.

✨ Could Luke be your new best friend?

And then there were two.🐾

When we had the opportunity to take in the last littermate of these adorable Lab mix pups — I couldn’t say no. Brother Jack and sister Mystic have both been adopted, so now it’s just Cooper and Raven — and what a gift these boys have been.

Cooper (purple collar/gray sweater) is growing fast. I was surprised at how quickly he’s filling out — strong, solid, and a bit bigger than Raven. But what stands out even more than his size is his heart. He is the definition of a people dog. Sit down, and he wants to be in your lap. My daughter affectionately nicknamed him “couch potato” because he is very happy to relax, and being close to his humans is his favorite place to be. He is also very happy to play and explore outside.

Raven (red collar/red sweater) is starting to enjoy exploring around the farm, and is quick to alert us to any of the animals. He may be a little slower to warm up, but once he’s comfortable, he’s the sweetest, and he loves to cuddle and play with his humans whenever he can! I’m curious what his adorable ears will do — stay floppy or standing tall?

They are both gentle, affectionate, and growing in confidence every day. They are doing great with the kennel and really getting the hang of potty training. They are amazing with kids, cats, other dogs, and are warming up to all the farm critters. They’re intelligent, eager to please, and full of love. With their natural instincts, there’s no doubt that with some guidance they’re both destined to be future hunting stars.

Pictures don’t do their adorableness justice — they don’t like to sit still for long! 😄 I hope this video helps show a bit about how amazing they are. NOW is the time to bring these boys home for snuggles, companionship, and lots of love.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your home, farm, or family, this is truly the time. Whoever welcomes Cooper or Raven into their home will be incredibly blessed. 🤍🐶

Message us if you’d like to meet either of them. Contact Let Live Love for adoption information: https://letlove.live/dog-adoptions/

I’ve had a few people ask if we plan to keep these foster puppies, or what our plan is if they don’t get adopted…and the honest answer is: I don’t have a plan.

I simply saw a need that I was able to help meet. Our family already has three dogs, but we still have so much love to share, and these puppies have been soaking up every bit of it. Even my husband—who was against the idea at first—has been thoroughly enjoying them and has been caught more than once snuggling one (or both). Turns out, they’re just too sweet to resist.

Red collar is Midnight Raven—he’s super shy at first, incredibly cuddly, and once he feels safe, sweet and playful. His brother in the green collar, Jack, is a bit more outgoing, just as sweet, and equally cuddly and adorable. Both of them are total people-puppies—they want to be with their people, following you around, climbing into laps, and soaking up every bit of love and attention they can get.

My kids have absolutely been spoiling them rotten. Their first few trips to the river were full VIP treatment—pulled in a sled covered in blankets one time, carried and wrapped up in coats another time. Eventually, we had to put sweaters on them and make them run a little, but now they’re enjoying the space to explore.

The other night, while we were relaxing, I overheard my youngest son snuggling one of the puppies and quietly say, “This is my dream.”That moment melted my heart. Knowing that while we’re doing a good deed—loving, socializing, and preparing these pups for their future homes—we’re also creating such sweet memories for our kids means everything to me.

These boys are learning potty training, kennel training, and what it’s like to be part of a family. They’ve been around kids, other dogs, cats, and are being introduced to farm animals. They have been completely spoiled with love, affection, and attention, and are being very well socialized.

Now is the perfect time to bring these boys home while they’re still so small, cuddly, and eager to please. This stage goes by fast, and they are truly in their snuggle era. With their intelligence and instincts, they will no doubt grow into excellent future hunters—but for now, they just want to be loved and close to their people.

I’m not looking to keep two full-grown labs, so I truly hope to find them loving families who want amazing, obedient, kid-friendly dogs. They would love to stay together, but I know that isn’t always possible.

If you’re interested in meeting Midnight Raven, and or Jack, or sharing them with someone who might be their forever family, feel free to reach out 🤍🐶

You may remember that our mama goat, Bambi, welcomed two healthy kids on Thanksgiving Day—a sweet brother-and-sister pair we named Cornbread and Cranberry.

The excitement continues! Just the other day, her sister Peanut welcomed two more sweet little ones—a buckling duo that we named Noah and Niko! It’s amazing to watch these kids grow so quickly, going from tiny newborns to playful acrobats bouncing, hopping, and running all day long.

I’m convinced every kid needs a goat kid. Their curious, playful personalities are impossible not to love. They rarely walk—they climb, leap, and explore every corner of their space. In fact, they’re the only animals on our farm that enjoy having a play fort in their stall, because climbing and jumping is their absolute favorite thing!

These little goats are Nigerian Pygmy crosses, which makes them excellent milkers as well as friendly, fun companions. We’ve got our milking stand figured out, and we’re hoping to add a more designated milking shed soon to keep conditions as sanitary as possible.

Even in the middle of freezing temperatures, blizzards, and deep cold, we praise God and are so thankful that all our critters are healthy, safe, and thriving. ❄️🐐💛

Watching these kids play and explore is a joy in itself—but I’m especially grateful that my own children and our goats get to escape the world for a while and simply be kids. Their energy, laughter, and playful antics are a beautiful reminder to slow down, enjoy life, and embrace the simple things.

A quick correction from last week: I spoke too soon—our Christmas Day calf isn’t a girl, he’s a boy! Noel has officially become Gabriel. We’re also thrilled to share that Gabriel now has a brother, and his name is Boaz! This is a first for us—two bull calves—and it’s so fun to have one of each color.

We’re still deciding whether both boys will be banded—Gabriel (black) will definitely stay, and Boaz (red) may one day become a bull on a new farm. We’ve noticed that male calves are often a little more curious and friendly, while females tend to be a bit shy and stay closer to mama. These boys should be lots of fun!

I just know that little Betty Dog and the calves will be fast friends come this spring. She’s been longing—and trying hard—to find some friends to romp with, and I think she might have finally met her mates!

It’s an exciting new chapter for our little Dexter herd, and we’re so grateful to be able to watch these two grow.

On Christmas Day, after much anticipation, we were overjoyed to welcome a beautiful, healthy bull calf into the world. We named him Gabriel. 🤍🐄 Brock, the dad, and River, the mom, made a cozy space in the hay and kept careful watch until we could bring them inside to a stall—though honestly, they would have preferred to stay together outside. We are so thankful they are safely inside during this Minnesota blizzard!

Our calves often arrive what many would say, is “out of season,” but they are following their own timeline rather than ours. Over the years, I’ve learned to hold my plans more loosely and trust God’s timing. We are incredibly grateful—for a healthy mama, a healthy baby, and the miracle of new life.

Even though the Christmas holiday has officially passed on the calendar, the spirit of the season—love, gratitude, and hope can live in our hearts every day.

From our family to yours, we hope you had a very Merry Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year full of joy, blessings, and new beginnings! 🎄💛

Meet Pork Chop and Potato, the males we kept from our last two litters to grow out. They’re thriving, getting bigger every day, and absolutely love their daily rubs!

Mama Suggar is also so excited to introduce her adorable new litter! These sweet “Cooney Goonies” are gentle, curious, and full of personality. Suggar is an amazing mom—always attentive and careful with them. And Papa Spice was so proud, he actually broke through the fencing just to come meet them!

We loved soaking up the last warm days outside with them—exploring, playing, and getting all of our attention. Now, they’re almost ready to head off to families of their own.

All piglets must go in pairs! Kunekunes need a companion—the pig pile is real! 😂🐽💛 We currently have two sisters and two brothers available, and buyers can choose:
• One fixed male + one intact male (barrow + boar)
• Or two fixed males (two barrows)
We’re happy to take care of castration before pickup.

🐽 Fun Facts About Kunekune Pigs:
• One of the gentlest pig breeds—wonderful with kids and other animals
• Natural grazers who thrive on pasture
• Sociable, curious, and HUGE fans of belly rubs
• Smart and easy to train (dog treats work wonders!)

Kunekunes are gentle, friendly, great grazers, and ideal for anyone looking for a lovable, pasture-friendly pig. If you’re interested—or know someone who might be—send us a message! 🐽💛💕

Every once in a while, life takes a turn we don’t expect — and that’s how we ended up with two extra little bundles of fluff still here at the farm. 🐰 These bunny sisters were spoken for, their deposits were paid, but they were never claimed. Through no fault of their own, they’re still waiting for a family to call home.

Born on July 29th, they’ve grown up right here with us and have been handled and loved daily. They’re well-socialized, gentle, and full of personality — truly the sweetest little companions. We’ve loved watching them play, snuggle, and explore, but now it’s time for them to find a forever home where they’ll continue to be cherished.

We’re offering a special deal, especially if they can stay together — they’ve become quite the bonded pair! If you’ve been thinking about adding a bunny (or two!) to your home, this is your chance to bring home some farm-raised sweetness.

Send us a message if you’d like more details or want to come meet them in person. They’re ready to hop right into someone’s heart! 💕

🎉 Exciting news from the farm! Faithful mama Suggar welcomed her second litter—four little beauties are finally here! 🐖💛

There’s something to be said about age and experience—Suggar was a little older first-time mom, and I truly think that made a big difference. She’s calm, confident, and the most attentive mama.

KuneKunes are truly amazing pigs—they are gentle, friendly, and incredibly social, making them perfect for farms and families alike. These piglets are already showing it, snuggling up together in the classic pig pile, proving that companionship is key to a happy piglet life!

We are so thankful for these little loves and can’t wait to watch them grow. Keep an eye on our page for more adorable piglet updates! 🐷💖

Our ducklings have grown so quickly! At this point, it’s impossible to tell the younger ones from the older. It feels like they graduated overnight from the kiddie pool to the big one. Now they all waddle in a line down to the creek, exploring, splashing, and keeping us entertained. And when it rains? They’re the happiest creatures on the farm. 🌧️🦆

People tell us all the time: “I’d never want ducks… they’re too messy!” But honestly, if my husband had to choose between ducks and chickens, he’d pick ducks every time. He says they’re funny—and unlike the chickens, they don’t p**p on the deck.

Ducks aren’t just fun-loving, they’re also very useful:
🌾 Their bath water is packed with nitrogen, making an incredible natural fertilizer for the garden.
🐛 They’re natural pest control. And here’s the kicker—they actually eat way more bugs than the chickens do, especially the slimy ones the hens refuse to touch!
🥚 And of course—their rich, creamy eggs are a baker’s dream!

Here’s a fun fact we’re noticing as they grow: the ones starting to get curly tail feathers are usually males, while the louder quackers are the females. The drakes tend to stay more soft-spoken, while the hens like to do the talking. 🦆💬

Whether it’s for the garden, the eggs, or just the joy of watching them waddle by, we’re so thankful for these feathered friends as part of our farm family!

🐞🌻 A few days ago, I called it a “ladybug invasion.” For those who knew better, you’re right—and I realized it wasn’t fair to the real ladybugs, so I must stand corrected. These are actually Asian lady beetles, introduced from East Asia to help control garden pests. I can’t help but think how misguided that was, since our native ladybugs were already doing their job perfectly! Unfortunately, these beetles have outcompeted many of the native ones and often end up swarming inside for warmth, causing more problems than they solved. I wish we could have kept just the native ladybugs—they stick to the plants, don’t bite, and certainly wouldn’t be overtaking our property so annoyingly.

But enough about beetles—let’s talk about something far more joyful: sunflower season! This year I grew a mix of varieties—from mammoth sunflowers taller than me to smaller ones and even some with deep red petals. Walking through the fort, surrounded by these towering stalks, I can almost forget the world for a moment.

Watching the tips droop signals harvest time, but I really know it’s close when the petals in the middle fall off with a gentle touch. That’s when I cut the heads, bring them inside to dry completely, and the seeds come out easily. I save some for next year, snack on some, and feed the rest to the animals—nothing goes to waste! Even the leftover stalks get put to use.

With the beauty of the sunflowers and the joy of harvesting them, I am reminded that even with little annoyances like beetle invasions, God’s blessings never cease. 🐞🌻
