Windy Meadows produces pastured, non-GMO, antibiotic free chicken that is processed without chemicals. Pastured, meaning we aggressively graze our chickens on grass by moving their pens everyday. We use only non-GMO feed that is certified non-GMO by a third party. Our chicken is antibiotic free and instead we focus on the health of their environment, making sure to provide fresh grass, water, and

a balanced feed with minerals and vitamins that promote health. We process the chicken in our state inspected facility without any toxic chemicals.

Hi Farm Friends!

Soup weather is finally here. This week we have been enjoying egg drop soup to keep us warm and comfy.

I put 4-6 cups broth in a pot and brought to a simmer. I made this broth with Carcasses and feet from Windy Meadows in my instant pot. Easy Peasy.

Added ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

Added 3 eggs, beaten.

Added 1 bunch green onions, cut at an angle. Maybe add a pinch more salt.

It was the best.

I’ve been leaning into recipes like this to help me meet health goals. So good that I don’t feel like i’m missing out. :)
