Penn's Hams Penn's Country Hams Penn's Country Hams has been in business for over 54 years. It is a family business, started by Donald Penn, in 1957.

His Father and Son were also a part of it. Starting out curing only 50 hams, Donald used the traditional recipe that his family used to cure their own hams and sold them at the general store in Mannsville, Kentucky. By 1972, Penn's was curing over 4,000 hams a year. Today, we sell over 80,000 hams each year and cure hams year round. Penn's now supplies ham fo the Kentucky Derby Breakfast as well

as all of the Kentucky State Parks and Lodges. We service over 400 stores and restaurants with hams each week. A "Best Taste Award," from the 1995 Kentucky State Fair and a State Grand Champion Award from the 1984 Kentucky State Fair makes up only two of the ribbons, plaques and trophies that fill Penn's Country Hams store. Penn's was praised in the New York Times! Penn's has grown tremendously over the years. Along with Country Ham, we also sell many other products, such as jams, relishes, fish, biscuits, pinto beans, BBQ ribs & many other items, to numerous to mention.
