K022 is a son of a LD Capitalist 316 x CCR Ms Apple daughter that we had started flushing and is now owned by Lucas Cattle Co. in Missouri. His is sired by the deceased LCDR Favor 149F. This bull is soft made, covers his tracks and has excellent structural conformation in a moderate package.

Thank you to our county agent Dale Rankin for nominating us for Man/Woman of the Year in Texas Agriculture. Three generations of our family have been honored with this award and and we plan to continue to do the good work of opening up our ranch to educational events and sharing our experience.

Ellen and Phillip Tom were recognized Monday at Atascosa County Commissioners Court for receiving the Man and Woman of the year for 2023 for the Texas County Agriculture Agents Association of Texas.

Thank You on behalf of District 12 and Atascosa County.

Less than 24 hours left to put in your bids to get the bull of your choice. Bidding closes Saturday, December 3rd at 10 a.m. Upon completion of the bid-off the bulls are sold.

Any bull without a bid will be available first come, first served private treaty.

SALE FORMAT

We get quite a few questions on the format we use to sell bulls so here’s the gist of it.

Every bull that is breeding age is catalogued and has a starting price. Opening day on sales is December 3rd 10 a.m. If a bull has two interested buyers, the bid increase is $100. Bids are now being taken and can be placed in by phone or in person up until Saturday 10 a.m. or by calling/texting Philip or Ellen. Buyers do not need to be present for bid-off. If a bull only has one buyer in at base price at 10 a.m. Saturday he is purchased at that price.

This format allows our customers equal opportunity and full access to purchase the bull(s) that fill their needs. Whether you’re a long time client or first time buyer our goal is fair dealings and for you to get the bull that is right for your herd.

Opening day discounts include a $50 discount for picking up your bull and $50 off if you fertility test the bull yourself. Our vet is scheduled to fertility test bulls that sold on December 9th and we will arrange deliveries immediately after.
