It was a beautiful morning to be out in the garden!

The day started with harvesting flowers for tomorrow's subscription pick up. The next step was to be checking on all of the veggies and fruit that are humming right along. And the ones that are lagging behind -- looking at you watermelons!

We are thoroughly enjoying this growing season and looking forward to what it will continue to produce and provide! I'll let you know when we have garden produce to share as well!

Don't forget to put your orders in for Friday and Saturday pick ups at the stand. We will have a variety of baked goods and flowers this weekend. I'll verify the menu on Friday, but your orders influence that, so order away!

It's been a week!

We have VBS this week, which while wonderful, keeps us very busy! I was able to get all the flower subscriptions prepared and out the door and managed to sneak a picture of this bouquet before we dashed off to the next task!

I have two things to tell you before I move on to the next step of my day (folding laundry - whee!)

1. Spring Subscriptions are coming to a close. That means that it is time to jump on board for Summer flowers if you have not already. Contact me to get on the list for a Summer bouquet subscription - either weekly or biweekly. As you saw this spring, we frequently sell out of flowers. That means that if you want to be guaranteed flowers, you need to be on the subscription list so that you make sure to get some beautiful blooms to brighten your day!

2. The stand will be open tomorrow, Friday 6/12, afternoon from 4pm-7pm and on Saturday, 6/13, from 8am-7pm. Tomorrow, I will post the menu in our What's on the Stand post. If you want to make sure that you get your cinnamon rolls or coffee cake or chocolate chip cookies, send me a order in a message or through our order form linked below and in the profile.

Week #5 of Spring Subscriptions!

With peonies, anenomes, stock, and a bit of mint, you really cannot go wrong!

Baking day is almost complete! So far, we have cinnamon rolls, French bread and blueberry coffee cake! Now it's time to get the cookies in the oven!

Week #4 of Spring Subscriptions! We're halfway through the spring season! It's hard to believe, but it's amazing to see all that is coming up in the garden and blooming!

Tomorrow is Baking Day! Let me know what treats you would like to order. We'll have the stand open from 8am - around 7pm on Saturday, 5/30. See you then!

Spring week #3 flowers! The peonies have bloomed!

In order to harvest peonies for the longest vase life (and to store them in the refrigerator) flowers are harvested when the buds feel like a marshmallow! With the heat this week, peony buds went from being as hard as marbles to full blooms within hours! It's been a wild ride and almost all of the peonies have been harvested and stored.

Now we sit back, enjoy the flowers, and wait for baking day! Place your orders before Friday at 9am and stop on Saturday, 5/23 between 8am and 7pm for your treats!
