Let’s pull the smoker out again! 🪵🔥

We felt bad only being able to offer pulled pork to the people we were camping with last week. So, by popular demand, we are doing a Pulled Pork Sale on Saturday, October 17th!
📍 Pick-up Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
⏰ Pre-order Deadline: Thursday, October 15th at Noon
On the Menu:
• Sandwich Meal ($10): A single pulled pork sandwich served with chips and a drink.
• The Whole Pan ($70): Perfect for families or freezing! An average of 8 lbs of delicious smoked pork.

🪵⛺The Bearded Monk is loading up the rig, and yes—the smoker and the Blackstone are coming to the campout! Please note: This exclusive feast is strictly for those attending the campout! ❌👤

If you are looking to kick back and enjoy an easy meal night (or two) without worrying about cooking over a tiny camp stove, I’ve got you covered. I will be firing up the Smoker to smoke some tender pork butts for the ultimate pulled pork.

With great fellowship comes deep hunger. I am open to smoking a second batch the following day—if there is enough interest! I can do 18 butts a night.🍖

THE DEAL:$70 per pan. Generous average of 8 lbs of meat per pan (perfect for feeding the whole family or sharing with your camp neighbors!) Let me know in the comments below if you want to lock in a pan of pulled pork, and let me know on whether we should add a second night to the weekend lineup! 👇🔥

What could be more rewarding than supporting our friends and family as they prepare for a meaningful mission trip to Guatemala? The wonderful team at Eastside ALC is heading down in a few months, and we are stepping up to help raise funds for some incredibly important projects they’ll be completing.

Last time, we gathered over smoky BBQ pulled pork. This time? We are elevating the experience. 🌮🔥Nothing hits quite like a great taco, so we thought, why not take it up a notch or two? The secret?

Picture this: Fresh corn tortillas piled high with tender brisket, perfectly topped with onions, cilantro, and cheese. Every order comes with your choice of mild or hot salsa, fresh pico de gallo, lime wedges, and a cold Coca-Cola or Sprite. All of this goodness for a great cause!

You may be asking yourself… how do you elevate a street taco that’s already elite?

Simple.
🔥 SMOKED BRISKET. 🔥

We start with fresh corn tortillas and pile them high with savory, melt-in-your-mouth smoked brisket that’s packed with flavor in every bite.

Not a brisket person? We’ve also got a flavor-loaded pulled pork version that hits just as hard. 👊

Update on the last fundraiser we did for Emmanuel Santiago López dad's knee surgery! As you guys know we were able to push the funds over the top with all your generosity. He had the surgery almost 2 weeks ago and is doing great. Keep them all in your prayers for a speedy recovery. I will post a video in the comments of him getting to walk a little shortly after surgery!

Meal Plan Monday

It has been a busy couple of weeks. Even though we had company last week, I didn't have to cook dinner much and so I didn't make a meal plan. We are back to our normal routine this week. Not any less busy though, so a meal plan is needed.
