BRT Farms

So we've had a big project going on over the last few months. After renting a farm out near Syracuse for several years to hold all of our grain we made the decision to put up our own grain system at home, hopefully this helps us get done a little fast in the fall! Thanks Cameron Mason for all your help with the ground prep while we were trying to get planting done! There are some videos in the comments as well.

We finally decided to add a second baler and accumulator to the fleet, hopefully we can get through hay season a little faster Bernie Townsend Justine Scott Townsend

We have hay in the feed shed again! Hopefully we can get some more good weather so we can get the barn filled sooner than later!

Bad news we are out of hay for the time being in the feed shed, we have been ready to bale and have not had the weather to do so, hopefully we get a 3 or 4 day stretch with no rain so we can get started!

It's that time of year again for baby chicks so as a reminder we do have a chick grower, laying mash and scratch grain! We also keep hay and straw in the feed shed so if you have a muddy chicken pen or need to bed the nesting boxes we got you covered!
