Happy Saturday!
Here’s how the Puget Crimsons are looking. There’s plenty of ripe ones, but they’re still not as easy picking as the Puget Reliance (check the comments for a video on those). If you visit the Reliance patch, be sure to look down the middle of the rows. They may look picked out and then you separate the canopy and find a ton!

Pro tip: the Crimsons have excellent flavor but the Reliance are the easiest to pick. Try a mix of both or add some sugar to the Reliance to really bring out their flavor 😎

Good morning! The Reliance patch still has lots of berries for easy picking! The Crimsons are coming on, but there aren’t nearly as many. Come out and pick before the heavy rain followed by hot weather 😎

Thank you everyone that has come out! The near (table) end is starting to get picked over, but the far end still has plenty of berries 🙂

There’s a handful of ripe berries in the patch out front by Elisha Rd. Feel free to take a look and pick from wherever you see fit. The table and scale will remain by the Reliance patch for now.

Our Varieties:

Ripe Now:
[Red] Puget Reliance- abundant fruit that are red all the way through, have good flavor and berry size. These will be our best yielding, so get them while you can!

Coming Soon:
[Peach] Puget Crimson- these berries are a hit and the reason you may see comments about “the best berries around”. We’ve gotten awesome feedback on how delicious they are, even when frozen and used over the winter. This is our largest patch, but they won’t have nearly as many berries as the Reliance. Hopefully there’ll still be plenty to go around!
[Green] Mary’s Peak- these are the 4 rows closest to Elisha Road. They didn’t do much their first year, so we don’t have a lot to say about them. What we did find were tasty, small berries. This year may tell us more.

You may have guessed, but the color I chose for each variety will give you an idea of current relative ripeness. We’ll let you know when we open the berries out front!

OPEN NOW!

Good news! We’ve decided to open a strawberry patch that hasn’t been offered to the public in the past, which means we have ripe berries now!

Park on the grassy area used in the past, then walk up the driveway a little and you’ll find strawberry heaven (see map). The table and scale are set up by this patch.

Please note- the strawberries out front aren’t quite ripe yet (they’re a different variety), but we’ll post again when they are!

We haven’t posted an update in a while, mostly because there hasn’t been an update. After waiting soooo long for ripening, we’re happy to announce a few more things are becoming ready:

-San Marzano Tomatoes (Paste)
-Celebrity Tomatoes (the most BEAUTIFUL Slicers)
-A few Habaneros
-the Serranos are close!

Still ripe and ready:
-Tomatillos
-Jalapeños
-Green Bell Peppers

The tomato rows have almost entirely laid over from so many fruit…same story with some of the other veggies. Just do your best and know that we won’t be angry if you step on something or break off any branches. If you have mobility concerns, please reach out and we’ll try to assist you.

Open Daylight Hours for Self Service- look for the table to weigh out at the scale and pay.

You’re welcome to park on the lawn next to the garden!
