These last several weeks have been so enjoyable. I met with a class at Canby Elementary School and planted flowers in small pots. We also talked about taking the time to enjoy nature’s blessings! I met a friend for lunch in Marshall that I hadn’t seen in a while, and we had such a nice visit. I also had pie with another coworker and friend.

This past week, some work friends contacted me to join them for lunch at PK’s. It was such a joy reconnecting with them. Yesterday, I shared raspberry margaritas with a college friend, watched my granddaughter play softball, and celebrated my youngest granddaughter’s 13th birthday with my family!

I have to admit, though, I tend to forget to take pictures when I’m enjoying the moment. I hope you take the time to share simple joys with the younger generation and reminisce with friends, old and new. You may just make their day a little brighter, and don’t forget to take the time to smell the flowers! 💐💕

It never gets old! No matter how many seeds I plant, I’m still amazed that something so tiny can grow into such beautiful flowers. 💐✨ 2,000 seeds planted and counting!

October was a whirlwind! Mitch and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with an amazing trip to Hawaii with family, then came home just in time for MEA weekend pumpkin picking with my daughter and granddaughters. 🎃 They even shared their pumpkins with the kids at their church!

The rest of the month was all about canning! Salsa, sauces, soups, and more jams and jellies than I can count. Our garden really outdid itself this year!

My flower farm season has officially wrapped up, and I’m already dreaming up plans for next year. Huge thanks to everyone who booked events, bought bouquets, or visited, and to all who came to our first-ever Autumn Family Fest! Your smiles make it all worth it. Thank you for supporting this wild, wonderful dream of mine. 🌻💛

The Freeland Telestars 4-H Club visited the flower farm yesterday and picked their own flowers and made bouquets! They were such a great group of kids. It was so inspiring to see the youth enjoy the beauty of the blooms, butterflies and the aroma of the flowers 🌹🌺

✨ My heart is so full after our very first Autumn Family Fest by Mamma's Creations✨
I’m beyond grateful for the incredible support from our community and beyond. It truly made the day so special. A huge thank you to our amazing vendors and the Sinclair Petting Zoo for bringing so much joy (the animals were definitely a hit). The wagon rides, laughter, and smiling faces—kids and adults alike—made it a day to remember.

This event was a true family effort, with nearly all of my family home to help. A real labor of love. ❤️

We’re already dreaming up next year’s fest- save a spot for next September! Can’t wait to celebrate again with all of you.

Directions:

From Marshall:
Hwy 68 to Porter turn left at fire hall turn right at the church and go west until hwy75. Turn left for 1 mile to county 20 go 2 miles west to 170th Ave then turn right and go one mile then turn left and go 1/4 mile turn right.

From Canby:
3 miles south on hwy 75 turn right go 2 miles west to 170th street turn left and go 2 miles to 160th Ave. Turn right 1/4 mile.
