Carpenter's Corner Beef We sell...

Pasture Raised
Grassfed Beef! This is a forum to learn about our product as well:
All of our cows are grass fed. Grass Fed.

This page is available to our customers and potential customers to provide information, feedback, fun photos, and drum up some new business! However, most of our cows will have a bit of grain as a freshly weaned calf to train and acclimate to new surroundings. By and large they are all raised on good quality, locally grown grass. Here at Carpenter's Corner we strive to grow the healthiest, best ta

sting (not too fat and not too lean) beef for our customers. We have a license to sell USDA inspected packaged BEEF right out of our freezer (by the package/pound pricing)! OR you can buy it by the 1/4, 1/2 or whole cow (locker beef pricing). We are trying to produce a market sized beef steer that is finished between 1000 or 1200 pounds. This beef will have a hanging weight between 550 and 700 pounds. We help you order your locker beef by giving you tips and advice on your cuts and simply helping you anticipate the questions the butcher will ask. We use Sharp'sMeats in Hubbard Oregon. If you are interested in ordering beef from Carpenter's Corner...let us know! If you want to learn more first, then we will be happy to answer your questions. Farm Fresh. Pasture Finished. If we can claim these qualities, then why not say that our beef is organic or free ranging? The reasons are many. The simplest explanation is that we don't use the title of organic or free ranging because they must be certified and the certification is difficult and expensive to obtain. We fee that it is not necessary for a superior product, not would it be very sustainable or logical for a local, small beef farmer. We are simply trying to produce the best possible product, keep the costs down and that doesn't require a special label or certification. Healthy Pastures. Healthy Cows. Our beef comes from healthy pastures. We raise our cows the old fashioned farm way: in a pasture with proper minerals, water, nutrients, and of course plenty of grass. Send us a message today for our current pricing and to learn more about our product!

Dear Beef Buyers-
We have slots open for beef in September!
Perhaps you've been grilling & smoking beef all summer long, and you are ready to fill your freezer again???!!!!!
We need several more buyers!
This beef is being cut and wrapped in Hubbard at Sharp Custom Cutting (we are not sending our customers to Stayton any more- as it is pretty far away for most).
If you want to buy in September, please reply with a "put me on the list for a 1/4 (or 1/2 or whole)!"
Thank you for the business, we appreciate you more than you know!!!

We love referrals- be sure to share that our beef is pasture raised, grass-fed, grass-finished. They eat hay that we grow & harvest . We recently harvested a beautiful and nutrient rich sedan grass crop, and an oatgrass blend crop. Our September and November harvested beef will finish with this hay!
