I have a Black Giant Angora Buck hopper. 9.5 months. This is a woolie /pet as he is on the smaller side and not making weight for SOP senior . He doesn’t come with papers, but sweet temperament and lovely wool. DM me for more info.

Esme is due on Sunday. It’s been just under two years letting her grow and mature for her body to carry babies. I’m so glad I waited and didn’t rush her. She is an F1 Mini Nubian and from Urban Acres Farm in Seabeck, Washington and came to me as a 2 week old baby. Esme has never needed a chemical wormer, has always adapted to weather changes really well and comes from lines in both Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian that have really focused hard on body conformation and milk production. The added bonus is that she has the most loveliest of temperaments too. Im so looking forward to seeing her become a Mum. Today is about stall prep and getting the birthing kit all together.

If you remember our sweet French Angora Doe Fleur had 11 babies. Way too many for a first time mom. There was a couple of runts in the litter who sadly didn’t make it. Sophia and Evie helped carry the load for a few days as Fleur was finding her feet. They fostered and nursed a few . We then had an extreamly hot day in the 90’s and it was just such a lot for the babies. To keep a long story short, Fleur has these amazing 5 babies left from her litter all growing so fast. I love FA babies. They are all so sweet like their mom!

Before & After the wash. Stunning.

It’s 90 degrees here in Asheville, NC.
I’m so over the heat but it’s washing day for the mystery fleece. I cannot wait to see what it looks like when it’s washed and clean!

At $3.60 + a gallon on gas and watching it go up , I’m going to miss these girls when they are gone. So much better than a gas run mower

Part 1 of processing this mystery fleece. Would love to hear your suggestions of what breed of sheep it could come from!

Fleur did have 11! I pulled the 3 smallest and gave 2 to Sophia and 1 to Evie, they are getting bigger as well! So amazed 2 days in they are still alive and wiggling around! Fleur has been an incredible first time mum. I’ve seen her nurse them multiple times a day so we are giving her some oats, Boss, YQ+ and a little kale.

Sophia was busy in the night. She is such an amazing mum. 5 beautiful Creme D’Argent babies in the night. So thankful they arrived before the big freeze on Monday night. Lots happening on the homestead today. Evie (Creme D’Argent) is having babies as I write and Fleur (French Angora) started pulling wool and making a nest today so probably babies will be here tonight/tomorrow!

I love the Champagne D’argents. Slowly turning from black to silver.
