We noticed Ruby’s calf missing last night so Adam and I searched until dark. Got up this morning, and she was still missing, and Ruby wasn’t interested in helping look for it. So we got Leia up to help us, we’re deep in the woods and hear, “it’s in the front yard!” Excuse me, actually my real response was, “is it alive?”

Yup, she had been bunkered down in some grass that we never would have checked and finally decided it was safe to show herself. Ran over to mom (Ruby) and boy was she thirsty!!!!

Last night I went to check on Ruby and they were cuddling. Today, she’s got her running across the pasture.
