Attention Campers at the Estival Festival. Kalum and Cousin James are out and about selling firewood. They’ve also added Interstate Batteries for the Campers in need. Both are also available at the tent near the food/Merch stands.
They will also have Enchanted Flames camp fire colorant!

Hello!
This year was a struggle again with my pumpkin patch. We planted earlier this year so the pumpkins would be orange by the time I harvested them. My plants started to grow really good but one day when I went out to the farm, I saw a lot of cucumber bugs all over ALL of my plants. My mom and dad helped me spray each plant because they didn’t want me touching the chemicals. I was able to save a lot of the plants but I think it made my plants slow down. I did not get big giant leaves this year and my pumpkins are small. I also had a lot less pumpkins grow. We had a lot of rainy and cloudy days at the farm so maybe that was a problem too.

Last year with the donations I was able to buy a hiller for my pumpkin patch and I got to help my dad put it together. This year I would like to buy a lot of fertilizer to help my pumpkins next year. My sister and I have some big news too.

We decided that we want to help a kid out for Christmas! We are going to talk to our principal from our elementary school and ask her if she knows anyone that we can help. My mom and dad said that they will help too and buy the groceries for the family so we can buy the little kid what they want for Christmas.

So this year we would like anyone who needs a pumpkin to take one and if you can donate we will use the money to go shopping for a family.

I’m sorry I didn’t have more pumpkins this year but I still have a lot of learning to do.

Kalums Dad here.
Boy what a weekend. Between splitting, bagging and selling wood with Cousin James at the Estival Festival 2023, Kalum also got the pumpkin patch finished with some help from Mom, Dad, and cousin Cassidy.
He even got to move to safety- Nova, the American Kestrel that Dad almost got with the mower
