So exciting 🖤💚 using our cucumbers from last market.
Elderberry Mercantile makes the best soaps.

We are so excited to debut this new soap this season. At the end of the market season last year, we purchased cucumbers from Rebel Farming LLC at the Salem Farm Market. I peeled the skins and dried them and juiced the cucumber flesh and froze it to make soap in the spring and WOW did it turn out great! It smells so fresh and inviting!!!

Biochar is a garden superhero. When added to your soil, it acts like a sponge. It will soak up and store all available nutrients locking them into the soil. While it adsorbs nutrients, biochar also acts as a slow-release fertilizer. As soil microbes and plant roots interact with biochar, nutrients are gradually released into the surrounding earth.
