Come make your own bouquet! Zinnias and dahlias, plus a couple blazing glories! They last a long time and are absolutely beautiful! Also you can cut your own along side the stand. 💐🥰 50 cents a stem.

Check out the stand and choose JOY today! 🥰 AND- Don’t mind the messy chicken pen! That’s our next clean up area. They break their feed bins and it becomes part of the scenery. The turkeys need to be rotated to new grass, everything needs to be mowed and w**d whacked, and I’m not hiking to the pigs in the woods right now- it’s like we took off for 5 days 🤣 Typical farm life 🤪😅

We are headed out of town for a couple of days. Eggs and flowers will be restocked Monday!(there are a few flowers left but will probably wilt while we are gone)

I finally have some of the stuff I’ve been mentioning at the farm stand! 💕😍 Our flowers have finally came on and are beautiful! Come make your own bouquet 💐 there are zinnias, black eyed Susans (?), echinacea, blazing glories, one dahlia (my favorite!) 50 cents per stem- leave the jars, please😉. There are a few veggies- I will put them out as I have extra- 50 cents each. Tallow soap samples are available 🫧 I have been trying my hand at it and we have enjoyed them! Tallow, lye (that goes away with saponification- can’t make soap without it), essential oils (lightly scented), and mica powder. I also have spice mixes that we use here and love! I need to put out more taco mix- That’s our favorite! I also put out new signs! Don’t forget the free library 📚and of course there are eggs!🥚There are bags for your convenience. Venmo or cash excepted. I appreciate you all and your patience! Thank you for supporting us and our natural products/ produce 🐓 if anyone needs a window or some tires they are free.

We had our meat chickens butchered and then we pieced them out ourselves. 250 # of meat! We saved some innards, skin, and fat for the dogs as a treat, then the carcasses to make broth. What a satisfying experience to grow and provide food right here for our family.

This is crazy!

This will disappoint some….. I was going to make a video but it was just too much today, and I had no idea what to say. I have always struggled with God’s calling. I have never felt enough or that I belong. I do a lot of stuff to please people hoping it would fulfill me. And, of course we live in a $ and influence type world- even the Christian realm. But, I had a realization, 2 weeks ago, when my grandson was so sick and I couldn’t make bagels: I was relieved. I was so relieved I didn’t have to bake as I sat in the ER waiting for him to perk up and his fever to come down. In his misery I also felt the world lifted off of me. That just didn’t sit right with me. I baked last week and I, honestly, was miserable. I was stuck indoors and on a beautiful day! I was baking and trying to keep the kitchen clean and the chickens were screaming for attention… I went outside and dealt with the chickens before proofing the next batch, not wanting to go back inside. Friday came and I had the world off my shoulders again. I didn’t have to do this again for another week. As the sale day went on I only made enough to value my time and products at $10/ hour. As I got closer and closer to bake day, this week, I have gotten more anxious and sad and nauseous. I’m so thankful for people loving my baking, and I do love seeing their joy- but, I’m miserable. If it were God’s calling, I would be stretched but not miserable. I tried it again. I don’t want to be a quitter. So, I’m going to be an evolver. Evolve into what I love and have you love it to! Back to basics! What are my passions?? Soap, herbs, natural medicine, teas, nature, chickens, animals, garden, flowers, books… simple- joyful. A true Proverbs 31 woman provides for her family in amazing ways that may not be the world’s norm. God doesn’t want us miserable. We have enough misery around us, we need to find our peace. So, I am finding my peace in the things God has given me a passion for. Maybe it will bring some money for the homestead, but overall I want the peace and fruitfulness of a Proverbs 31 woman and do it all for the Lord.
