What started as an idea became a reality because so many people stepped up to help.

To our hardworking board members, Mayor Kevin Colligan, generous sponsors, sound engineers, volunteers, vendors, the musicians who help keep our culture alive, and everyone who came out to support us—thank you.

These memories will stay with us for years to come, and the success of this festival belongs to everyone who played a part in making it happen.

From all of us at the Cankton Accordion Festival, thank you for helping make our first year such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Louisiana’s Accordion Capital next year.
