After 13 wonderful years, Maryann and I have sold The Wine Shack and Puffin Wines. We are forever grateful to our amazing staff, loyal customers and exceptional winemaking team. This small business was more than work—it was family, and saying goodbye is hard. Thank you all for being part of the journey.

We are excited to welcome the new owners and can’t wait to see how they carry The Wine Shack and Puffin Wines forward!

Pudding River Wine Cellars winemaker, Sean Allen will be in our tasting room on July 5th, from 1-5. Sean will be pouring 5 of his superbly delicious wines! Hope you can stop by and enjoy the vino.

Come hang with Sean this 4th of July in Cannon Beach, Oregon! He’ll be pouring at The Wine Shack Saturday the 5th, from 1–5 PM—our first coastal retail spot and a place that feels like our second home.
Sure, it’ll be a little crowded (okay, a lot), but the wine’s flowing and the vibes are unbeatable.
Hope to see some friendly faces there!

Our tasting room will be closed on the 4th as well, but we have a surprise for you on Saturday, the 5th! We are hosting winemaker, Sean Allen, from Pudding River Wine Cellars, from 1-5! See you then!

The Wine Shack will be closed on the 4th so our staff can spend time with their families and friends. We will re-open at noon on the 5th.

Double Gold, baby! Wow, so glad the judges enjoyed our Merlot!

The good news for you is that we are currently pouring Puffin Merlot on our “red wines” lineup!

Double Gold Medal! All three judges agreed on Gold to make Puffin Wines 2021 Merlot a Double Gold Medal winner at the Savor Northwest Wine Awards competition. Congratulations to the Cannon Beach Wine Shack!

The judges have reached a decision.....GOLD! Kudos to our winemaker, John Derthick, for making this delicious blend of Syrah, Merlot, Cab and Malbec. This makes 5 consecutive years that Scarlet has earned a Gold medal at a major Pac NW competion!

This Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon presents rich, expressive aromas of jammy black fruit, baking spice, cedar and sweet to***co. It delivers a rounded mouthfeel of juicy blackberry balanced with a plum skin acidity before emerging notes of cocoa carry you to a lightly textured earthy finish.
