Flying J Farm Flying J Farm is located in Cannon Falls, Mn. Our farm was homesteaded in 1856,and has been in our family since.

We sell high quality Black Angus beef (please contact us for availability), and we also produce small grains, hay, and some traditional crops.

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

The kids are back to school.

Lenny had his first day Saturday. He was being evaluated to see if he would be taken on by a local trainer and training group.

His natural ability shone through and he did very well.

He and Shea will be joining a bi-weekly group to learn and train.

He’s got a lot to learn and as the 2nd youngest dog there we will be going slow and not applying too much right away.

NATURE CONSERVANCY FARM TOUR

This week we welcome the The Nature Conservancy to Flying J Farm.

It was fun to visit with Nature Conservancy employees from across the country!

We talked about the benefits of oats and a third crop rotation here in the Midwest and the role they play in water quality and biodiversity.

We also discussed the impact of grazers on the landscape and the impacts of the current drought.

Thank you The Nature Conservancy for coming out, and thank you for advocating for oats and regenerative agriculture practices.

Happy Birthday to our cat lovin’, animal loving, most caring person in the world!

Our daughter is in the double digits today!

Q is quiet and kind, yet fierce with an incredible speaking voice and personality. She is first to lend support if anyone is down. What would we do without you Q!

She loves all that is just and fair and is passionate about what is right! She comes with a great sense of humor and tremendous emotional intelligence. Bright beyond her years!

Her dream at the moment is to be an actress one day and turn this place into an animal sanctuary.

I don’t doubt her for a minute!
