As we approach the upcoming Labor Day holiday on September 7th we are sending a reminder of our hours:

There will be NO RECEIVING on Sunday, September 6th as there will be NO SALE on Monday, September 7th.

We will be OPEN for RECEIVING that afternoon from 2PM until 8PM. Our September special feeder sale is the following day, September 8th. Call in with your early consignments next week and we will post them here on Facebook and on our website.

As you can see, the markets have reacted to the news of the Tyson Meats packing plant closures that occurred last Thursday. We don't have any further information to share on the matter other than they are out of the market for the rest of this week for sure while they finish up their current kill-outs and figure out future logistics. We are fortunate to be closer in distance to the plant in Dakota City, NE than we were going to Joslin, IL and hope to be back to business as usual shortly.
