Sorry I don't have pics, but let's just file this under "Be careful what you wish for..."
I was talking to a friend at work about how I need something to occupy some time in the evening, you know, revive some of my hobbies. (I have plenty of options, just need to organize and decide.)
So Aiden decides to have himself a little walk about tonight. I was filling the water buckets and the hose prevented the gate from closing past the alpaca escape invitation stage. Aiden, the silent secret adventurer takes his shot. Ohh Yippee. 🤦‍♀️

So, Turbo is all kinds of jealous and heads to the pasture. I get him out into the pasture and convince Simon and Kane to join him. I shut the gate behind them. This allows me to open up barn yard gates, doors and turn on barn lights hoping to entice Aiden back into the barn. So we traipse around the pasture. All. The. Way. Around. The. Pasture. Not too fast, not too slow. Gates strategically placed, the other 3 boys following along on the inside of the pasture fence. Aiden is a good boy, and frankly I am glad he was the one that got out, because he's easy to get back in.
As hobbies go, I am thinking I can do better. 😉

The Fox Way Boys would like to introduce you to their new Shepherdess, Macy (our granddaughter). She hits all the right spots when she hoses off the Fox Way Boys on a hot summer day. She knows Turbo is kind of a hose hog and fearlessly pushes him out of the way. She already has Simon's number and because of that they are fast friends. So many alpaca kisses and alfalfa treats today! Listen closely as she encourages Kane to dance. ❤️

Shearing day 2021 is in the books! A huge shout-out to Micah and crew and Biosecure Alpaca Shearing for getting our boys shorn today! We so appreciate all the care you take with our Turbo, Kane, Aiden and Simon. The Fox Way Boys are positively spry sporting their new "do's". They are so happy! Simon, however, is challenging you to a re-match, he swears this time he will not be distracted by the TLC approach next time! It was a great day! (And a great day to have behind us) John B.
